Serpa, Portugal is located in the district of Beja which is located in the Alentejo Central Portuguese Region bordering Spain. Serpa lies on higher ground where the great river Guadiana flows by and only a short distance away you can find some of Portugal's most beautiful landscapes
in the Guadiana National Park. Serpa has documented history as early
as 400 BC and an even richer history that lies in the stories of the land.
I fell in love with the rugged calm beauty and grounded feminine and masculine energy of Serpa as it draws you close to the supportive womb of Mother Earth
effortlessly activating our Sacred Sacral and Root energy centers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the closest airport to Serpa? How do I get to the Retreat Center?
The closest airport is Lisbon, Portugal. You can either carpool with other participants in a van/taxi, which will be arranged for you, arrive with your own vehicles, or take a direct bus from Lisbon to Serpa through rede expressos, and then a taxi for about 12/14 euros to Quinta Marugo. You can also take a train from Lisbon (most stations) through CP (Comboios Portugal – National Train Service) and a taxi to Quinta Marugo for about €50. If you wish to carpool with the group please notify upon booking. The cost per person will range from €38-€90 depending upon the number of people in the car/van.
Can I book an extra day before of after the retreat at the venue?
Yes, you can book one extra night after the retreat for €130 per standard room, or €150 Standard Plus room with breakfast. Please notify upon booking."
Are meals included and what if I don't eat (gluten, dairy, meat etc...)?
Three meals a day are included within the retreat. If you have any dietary preferences not a problem, we are happy to accommodate for you! Please indicate upon booking if this is the case so we can prepare accordingly.
How do you select my roommate if I decide to share a room?
If you are coming with a friend and wish to room together please let me know in advance. Otherwise I will pair you with a roommate for a good fit based upon both of your preferences and personality to the best of my ability.
What if I have an emergency and I cannot make it last minute to the retreat - do you off a refund?
50% of the total retreat fee is refundable up to 60 days before the date of the retreat. After that the total becomes non-refundable. You can try to see if you can transfer the retreat to someone else but it will be your responsibility. I recommend getting travel insurance when you book your ticket or check with your Credit Card provider if they offer travel insurance just to be safe.
